While I am a recent graduate from the Ontario Veterinary College and the newest doctor here at Preston Animal Clinic, my story doesn’t start there. I was 4 years old when I decided I wanted to be a veterinarian (pretty much when I learned what a vet was!) and began pursuing that goal through many years of education and volunteering/working with animals. Now, 25 years later I get to live that dream every day!

As an animal-lover, there are certainly perks to working with our cute patients every day. But even more than that, as a fellow pet-parent I understand the human-animal bond on a very deep, personal level. I know that your pet is more than just a pet to you; they are your family (a child even!), so I approach every patient and their family with the same care, dignity and respect that I would expect to receive with my own family. I am so grateful that I can continue to learn and grow everyday for the benefit of my patients with the support of the amazing Preston Animal Clinic team!

When I am not in the clinic, I can be found rock climbing, swimming and spending time with my friends and family. With myself, my fiancé and our cat, Ben, at home, I don’t yet have the same “home-zoo” that some of my colleagues do, but give it time!
