I graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2009 and joined the team at Preston Animal Clinic immediately afterward. For the next ten years, I worked full time building relationships with our amazing clients and their pets, growing as a veterinarian, and learning something new almost every day (it’s one of the best parts of this job!).
In 2019, I stepped away from full-time practice to pursue shelter medicine work with the local humane society—a cause close to my heart. But I just couldn’t stay away completely! Preston Animal Clinic has always felt like a second home, so I’m still here 2–3 days a month, doing what I love with a team I admire deeply.
I have a strong interest in soft-tissue surgery and always look forward to the opportunity to put my skills to work helping pets recover, heal, and thrive.
At home, life is full! I share it with my husband, our two kids, two rescued dogs, and one very silly Eclectus parrot named Mr. Dressup.
Whether it’s through shelter work or time spent at Preston Animal Clinic, I’m grateful every day for the chance to support the bond between people and their pets.
