Dr. Christine Coghlan

Over thirty years after graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College, I still love going to work! I’m so lucky that I was able to fulfill my childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian. From the age of 8, I knew I wanted to combine my love for animals and science (and my love for people who love animals!)  Not a day goes by that I don’t learn something new – that’s what keeps it exciting.  Being with my Preston Animal Clinic family for over 20 years has allowed me to cultivate deep bonds with our clients and their pets, not to mention to work alongside some of the most wonderful people I’ve ever met. When I’m not at the clinic, taking care of my own menagerie keeps me busy (dogs, guinea pigs, chickens and a husband – I’m still trying to convince him that we should get goats!).   I spend as much time as I possibly can outside – hiking, kayaking, golfing and gardening. Curling and ice hockey help keep me busy in the winter, and I love to read and cook when I can.

The human animal bond is an amazing thing. I’ve cherished it with many a fur/feathered baby over the years and I hope I can, in m own small way, continue to help enhance that bond for others for many more years.

Please call the clinic to book an appointment with Dr. Coghlan.
