Dr. Amy Rojman
Dr. Amy Rojman completed her Bachelor of Science with Honours in Zoology at the University of Guelph in 2008 and went on to graduate from the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Program at the Ontario Veterinary College in 2017. Amy spent the few years before her veterinary education working many interesting full and part time jobs including a reptile zoo educator, an elementary school presenter for Scientists in School, and even an airbrush tattoo artist at children’s parties!
During veterinary school Amy and her husband, an equine veterinarian, opened a small family mobile equine practice and Amy has been the practice manager of this successful operation since its inception in 2015. Since graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Amy has had her family mobile practice accredited for small animal patients and has worked at several small and exotic animal hospitals in Southern Ontario as a locum practitioner. After taking a break from clinic work due to a maternity leave, she was excited to have the opportunity to join the remarkable Preston Animal Clinic team and help care for their extraordinary clients and patients.
In her free time, you will likely find her in the kitchen trying out a daring new recipe (likely of the savory variety) while either her daughter or her mischievous cat Unagi climbs up her leg, in her garden tending to her flowers and delicious home-grown veggies or out exploring the beautiful estuaries, lakes and landscapes that surround her beloved hometown of Guelph.
